A unique approach

Haveman Brothers Forestry provides a variety of services for young plantations - from pre- commercial thinning to manual release.

We ensure that our clients are made aware of the job’s progress on a constant basis. This allows adjustments to be made throughout a contract, which is specifically important to thinning because once work is completed there are few options available to re-work areas already treated.

Our supervisors and staff ensure that workers handle fuels in a manner that is safe and minimizes environmental risks, that workers have access to parts and tools to keep their equipment working and that they know how to work in a safe and efficient manner.

Finally, as with our other jobs Haveman Brothers Forestry Audits all of its work to ensure that the job is in compliance with company and client expectations, health and safety policy, federal and provincial laws.

Cutting edge technology

The flow of information during a thinning operation is paramount. Our unique in-house software combined with our online database, and satellite internet, ensures that you receive daily updates – directly from the field.

Rigorous training

Our supervisors undergo a training program goes above provincial and federal legal requirements. We also train our supervisors in off road vehicle use, leadership skills and personnel management. They are always in communication with the office staff; ensuring resources are supplied, as needed, and that client needs are being met.
